Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services:

We offer the following services as part of our Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services:​

Mentorship from Deaf/Hard of Hearing community members who share their lived experience.

American Sign Language coaching from Deaf/fluent signers.

Consultation to caregivers on how to support the child in reaching their developmental milestones, specializing in language and communication development

Guidance in finding learning environments that are a good fit for your family's values, child's communication and learning style.

Support in connecting with Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education services, family support services, and other private services such as American Sign Language instruction, audiology, speech language pathology, etc.

Guidance in navigating the early intervention/special education system and services, including helping families understand their deaf or hard of hearing child's educational rights and ensuring that the services the child is receiving are appropriate and effective.

Coaching for caregivers to empower parents to advocate for their child's needs in the educational system (including attending IFSP/IEP meetings to support you, reviewing/explaining your child's educational plan, helping you craft high quality strengths-based goals that or advocating for appropriate supports/services that help your child reach their full potential).

Coaching from a Deaf or Hard of Hearing adult to help hearing parents understand Deaf culture and learn about the challenges and experiences faced by DHH children and adults.

To best meet your family's needs, we offer a free 15 minute consultation to discuss which services would be most supportive to your family. After the consultation, you will receive a proposal which explains the services we can provide for your unique situation and a quote for the total anticipated cost. ​
